Lillian Main
Lillian is an active volunteer at the Headwaters Science Center in Bemidji. Throughout many years she organizes fund raising activities and special events, assists with recruiting and training volunteers and explains exhibits and programming to visitors. Her duties as a docent have included writing curriculum and teaching weekly summer programs for young children. Her love of science is evident in her enthusiasm and long-term commitment to the Science Center. She also volunteers at North Country Regional Hospital, Girl Scouts and the Suicide Prevention Program and participated in a mission trip to Mexico to help build homes. In addition she has rigorous classes at Bemidji High School and is an academic letter winner.
