Brayden learned about the kids in Africa not having clean drinking water through a fundraiser sponsored by his school. Brayden told his mother that a child dies every 8 second because they don't have clean water to drink. He wanted to give money to help these kids. Brayden earns $5.00 by doing chores around the house. Brayden usually spends his money on snacks and candy at Hockey games. Brayden believed it was not right for him to spend his money on snacks and candy when kids need clean water to drink. He wanted to give his money to the fundraiser and help the kids. He also encouraged others in his family to get involved in the fundraising effort by telling them that if he raised $50.00, they could dig a well for the kids. Through Brayden's efforts, he was able to raise $50.00 for the kids he was so worried about.
